LASH EXTENSION CLIENTS - PLEASE ARRIVE WITH CLEAN LASHES!! No mascara or eyeliner if possible. It saves time and creates overall better, longer lasting results. Please print out this New Lash Client Form and bring it with you to your first appointment.

COSMETIC PIGMENTATION CLIENTS (Brows, Eyes, Lips, Scalp, Areola, Scars)
THE REST OF THIS INFORMATION IS FOR YOU!

FIRST - Please PRINT out the New Client Forms and bring them to your appointment.

PRE-APPOINTMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
Do not consume alcohol, caffeine or blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, Niacin, fish/primrose oil) 48 hours before your procedure to avoid excess bleeding and sensitivity.
Avoid the following facial procedures 3 to 4 weeks before:
Chemical peels (Glycolic, Pumpkin, Alpha Hydroxy, Salicylic Acid)
Laser Facials, both ablative and non-ablative, including Fraxel, Co2, and IPL laser treatments
Exfoliation and retinol product.

It is best to have Botox/Fillers done at least 3 weeks before your brow procedure, rather than after. This time frame allows the brows to "settle" from the Botox/fillers, so that your "new" brows can be designed accordingly. Getting Botox/fillers done after your brow procedure could actually change the positioning of the brow procedure, making them appear uneven and asymmetrical.

Chemotherapy and/or radiation treatments must be completed at least 6 months prior to any cosmetic pigmentation procedure.

All steroid and/or antibiotic medications must be completed/discontinued at least 8 weeks prior to any cosmetic pigmentation procedure.

EYELINER CLIENTS:
Please stop using eyelash enhancing serums (LaTisse, Lash Boost, etc...) at least 6 weeks prior to your eyeliner procedure!
We can NOT tattoo over eyelash extensions! Please have all extensions removed at least one week prior to your eyeliner tattoo procedure. if you show up with eyelash extensions, you will be turned away and charge a 50% late cancellation fee.
BROW CLIENTS:
Brow waxing/shaping (if desired) should be done at least 2 days in advance
Brow tinting (if desired) should be done 1-2 weeks in advance.
Feel free to wear brow makeup to the appointment if you wish for Andrea to take into consideration the color/shape that you are used to wearing them.

All pigmentation clients must avoid sun/tanning bed exposure for 30 days before their procedure!
As the skin exfoliates from a tan or sunburn, it will take the tattoo pigment with it.
If you arrive with signs of sun over-exposure, (aka: sunburn) we will unfortunately have to reschedule your appointment and you will be charged the 50% late cancellation fee.

APPOINTMENT DAY
On your appointment day, we ask that you come prepared to be as relaxed as possible for the duration of your cosmetic tattoo. Make sure to hydrate, and eat a light snack 20 to 30 minutes before arriving.
Avoid caffeine! If you are hooked on that morning coffee, it's best that you schedule an early appointment!
Wear relaxed clothing that you can sit and lay down in for an extended period of time
Use the restroom before entering the studio (located right across the hall)
IF YOU ARE SICK - PLEASE DO NOT BRING IT TO US! Please cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance if you are not feeling well, or have been exposed to someone with a contagious illness.
NO-NOs: Absolutely NO children, pets, eating, drinking and/or gum chewing are permitted in the studio during your appointment time. Talking/texting on cell phones is not permitted at all once your procedure has been started. We kindly ask that you please silence or shut off your cell phone before your procedure begins.

WHAT TO EXPECT UPON ARRIVAL:
Consultation: This is the opportunity to meet with your artist and create a plan for your specific pigmentation request. Please bring your new client forms, along with any photos of tattoo examples that are similar to the look you’re hoping for. Your artist will work with you to design a custom cosmetic tattoo that will highlight your natural features. From there, your artist will choose a pigment match based on your skin tone and hair color. We’ll also discuss aftercare and healing during this time.

Numbing: Prior to the consultation & procedure, a topical anesthetic is applied to your skin. We also layer an additional numbing agent during the tattooing to increase your comfort. Please do not use other topical anesthetics prior to your arrival. You may take TYLENOL about an hour prior to your procedure, however do not take any other type of pain relieving medication until after your procedure (if necessary).

Pigmentation Process: Your artist will carefully implant pigment to mimic the appearance of natural hair, eyeliner or skin/areola colors desired. This usually takes anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on the type of procedure, and may require more than one visit to achieve the desired fully healed results.
